eBay users are reporting outages with the website in the UK this morning, as hundreds of buyers and sellers struggled to buy, login and list items.
Website monitoring service, Down Detector, is also showing major issues across the PSN network, with as many as 400 reports related to the eBay website outage.
According to Down Detector, some 65% of reports were due to problems with the website, while 31% had issues logging in.
A Tweet responding to one dissatisfied customer from the Ask eBay support Twitter account confirmed the issues in a tweet which read:
“We received reports from users in the UK having issues accessing the site. We are currently working to resolve this ASAP”
One eBay user complained: “Had a “live chat” with them just now and it’s an eBay technical fault that they are fully aware of and hopefully doing all they can to fix it asap.I did mention that it is wholly inconvenient for us eBay businesses and hope they might put up some sort of message accepting blame”.
While another said: “Can’t get to my selling page and when I go via Homepage it takes me to US. Need to list and get orders/labels sorted!”.
And one added a possible solution, but not for lable printing: “The app is working ok, showing my sold items but need to print invoices from the website”.
Stay tuned for updates…
